This is the body wash to use. This product scores a 0 (0 as in zero hazard/very low carcinogen risk) on EWG's Skin Deep Database, which should be the standard.
The Scent
The scents are light, smell excellent, and do not smell feminine (nor masculine, they just smell natural and good). The scent also does not linger long, so it is completely acceptable for men who prefer to smell neutral. Though I'm sure a product that does not have a strong, lingering (and ridiculously artificial) smell would be a turn off for the women (and disappointingly some men) who have a passion for stinking up the office and the rest of the world with their perfumes.
The Texture
Not thick. Not watery. The peppermint version lathers very lightly to almost none. The lavender/citrus lathers a little more, but still only lightly. From what I have read, lathering agents offer no benefit to cleaning. Overall, this body wash does the job it is supposed to do - clean. I'm not sure why other reviewers mentioned that this product lathers really well - maybe I keep getting batches with less of the ingredients that cause the lathering?
A plus with the peppermint version is it lightly tingles when used.
The Life
I bathe 2-3 times a day. The 16 oz bottle has lasted 3 months so far, and maybe has another 2-4 weeks more, so say 3.5 months if you bathe twice a day.
If you use moisturizer, I highly recommend the moisturizer as well. I will have a similar review.
I don't usually do reviews. I was willing to do this because I am a strong advocate of healthy living and I believe all companies who supply carcinogenic products to the public should be put out of business. The same for the companies who claim their product is organic and it really is not. I am also disappointed how difficult it is to find a natural product that actually works.
