The product description at the time of my purchase said this could be adjusted to fit even young infants, but we could not adjust it to be small enough for my 7-month-old son, who is large for his age. Even if we had been able to make it small enough, it would have been difficult to arrange it so that all the hair gets rinsed. In addition, he hated it. We had much better luck with one of the cup rinsers with the soft side that molds to the shape of their foreheads, which is what we have been using for the last 6 months.
Would not recommend.
