This salt was used in our 350 gal spa with a chlorine generator. Full water and filter change was done prior to adding salt. The water turned pinks and completely cloudy. Days of filter cycles with rinses to the filters did not reduce cloudiness. Added clarifier, LOTS. It cleared up after a few more days. I am having to rinse the filters every couple weeks now as it is still trapping red residue. Unfortunately, I bought enough for two water changes. I have contacted the company, Controlomatic, though they have not responded. I want to return the second bag for I am not using it. Do NOT bother with this salt. Stick with pure white.
